Got it back from the body shop friday.

A real barn-find.A friend was at an auction out in the stix close to Giddings Texas.This was in the barn covered up.Owner had passed,and the family was gettin rid of everything.Nobody bid on it!!...He got it for 100.00.He gave it to me as a wedding gift in 1998.I drive it daily.I have only replaced needed stuff.Its got a 390 with a C6.Odometer shows 79,000.A real fun truck.

This is what it looked like in april of 2010. just removed the 302 to go though it. I set that engine aside for my 51 f-2 project. In june i replaced it with a 460 / c/6 i removed from my old 79 s-c work truck. The perfomance difference is unreal for an old factory stock engine. Yea i know it will use more gas , but somebody has to help B-P pay there oil spill clean up bill. More pics later.
